Certifiable Shop/Field Welder
Welders of this company typically work around 40 hours per week, regularly lift and carry 75 lbs, weld off scaffolding in the field, work around heavy equipment, and field welders travel up to 100% of the work week and work in a very fast-paced work environment. Drug-free environment.
Preferred: At least 5 years structural steel fabrication experience, welding certifications or ability to become certified, willing to work in the field. Safety Training.
Job Requirements:

- Welding crews work quickly and efficiently; candidate needs to be able to keep up with crew
- Ability to stand for 8-12 hour shifts, follow verbal procedures, adhere to all safety policies and procedures, work on scaffolding/heights in a commercial construction setting, & be self-motivated
- Must be able to read and decipher shop drawings.
- Must possess keen eyesight and hand-eye coordination.
- Must have basic math and verbal communication skills.
- Must able to stoop, stand, bend and work in awkward positions to complete welding duties.
- Often are required to do their work at a great height on a scaffold.
- Be able to access online safety training within first week
- Required for field work: Hard Hat, Welding Hood, Safety Glasses, Steel Toe Boots

- Must be able to attend in-person interview & take drug screen at an Albuquerque, NM location
- Welding test: 6 plates total
- 1. SMAW – Weld Rod Test – 7018 (2G, 3G,4G)

- 1. SMAW – Weld Rod Test – 7018 (2G, 3G,4G)
- Welding test: 6 plates total
